There are times when I know exactly how I want to frame a stone as soon as I’ve finished the ‘gem cutting’ part of the process, and this was one of them. The beautiful yellow markings are actually fossil shell. These were the inspiration for the graceful ‘loops’ of silver, all feeding back into the stone. A delicate, yet sturdy piece of jewellery art for any occasion.
