Seraphinite comes from an iron mine in eastern Siberia called Korshunovskoe. Although believed to have been discovered in the 1800s, it only appeared outside of Russia quite recently. As larger quantities reached Europe and the rest of the world, it quickly caught the attention of rock and mineral enthusiasts. The silvery streaks that run through it are actually mica deposits. This pendant is made from rare high quality material and was hand selected by Helen whilst at the Tucson Gem and Mineral show.
