Seraphinite Necklace.

£120.00

This beautiful and unusual piece of Seraphinite has been hand cut by Helen and is set in a sterling silver bezel with a pierced back. The name Seraphinite is derived from the appearance of the stone which is said to resemble the wings of an angel.

An 18" silver belcher chain is included, although it would look equally stunning on a thick cord.

Also included is a black display box. It's also recommended that you store your pendant here when you are not wearing it.

Seraphinite comes from an iron mine in eastern Siberia called Korshunovskoe. Although believed to have been discovered in the 1800s, it only appeared outside of Russia quite recently. As larger quantities reached Europe and the rest of the world, it quickly caught the attention of rock and mineral enthusiasts. The silvery streaks that run through it are actually mica deposits. This pendant is made from rare high quality material and was hand selected by Helen whilst at the Tucson Gem and Mineral show.
