Hypersthene has a chatoyant surface showing bands of bright luster caused by the reflections from the inclusions in the stone. This piece is especially beautiful. Cut by Helen and set in a deceptively simple bezel setting, this necklace is comfortable and hard wearing. The silver is patinated, meaning it has black low lights to help develop a sense of drama and to balance the intricate chain so as not to overwhelm the gemstone.
